Dr. Kimberly McCarter, a native of Grambling is the daughter of Rev & Mrs Samuel & Ada Joseph. She is a 1994 graduate of Grambling High School, a 1998 graduate of Grambling State University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology, a 2002 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a Master’s degree in Human Genetics, and a 2018 graduate of LSU Health Science Center-Shreveport with a PhD in Cell Biology & Anatomy.
Dr McCarter currently resides in Shreveport, LA where she works at Huntington High School teaching dual enrollment courses in Chemistry, Anatomy, Biology & Environmental Science. In her spare time she loves reading, listening to music and watching sports especially football and tennis.
She was married to the late Darius Wayne McCarter for 9 years and has 3 awesome sons, Nathan, Mason & Julian.
