- Based out of Shreveport, Louisiana, the National Organization of Motivation & Incentives thru Education for Youth, Inc. (NOMIE For Youth) is a non-profit organization that was inspired by the late Nomie D. Farley. Nomie Farley served for sixty years as a dedicated schoolteacher, mentor, and advocate for community children and young adults in Jackson Parish, Louisiana. This organization is dedicated to helping local under-served youth overcome social, cultural, educational, and financial barriers that pose as obstacles to their future success.
